Gateway to Asia with Asian Football Confederation

2010-07-20

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is the central body responsible for the management of football in Asia and is one of the six confederations that make up FIFA.

Created in 1954, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Asian Football Confederation has 46 member associations that represent themselves more than half the world population.

The AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011™ will feature 16 of the best teams in Asia, vying for a truly international title from January 7-29, 2011.

In view of the organization of the Asian Cup to be held in Qatar in January 2011, the Asian Football Confederation approached ADEUNIS RF.

To equip its top international referees, the Asian Football Confederation has chosen our referee communication system VOK-REF 05.

Recall that this communication system is popular with the highest sporting authorities and, following its use in the 2010 Football World Cup and the 2006 World Cup, will be in use for the first ever World Cup organised on the African continent. It has already been used successfully in the Champions League and the leading football leagues in Europe (England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France ...) and worldwide (Mexico, South Africa, Africa, Korea ...).
